2019: round up of the year

2019: round up of the year

here are a couple of the milestones we’re most proud of for 2019:

  • Our team expanded. As our Amy went off on maternity leave in August, we gained Ben and Liv on secondment from the innocent business. Both of them work part-time, and spend the rest of their week working in the sustainable agriculture team. Welcome both.
  • We hit the £10m donation mark from innocent.
  • All four of this year’s scholars returned safe and sound from their projects. 2019 saw Jimmy and James G working in Madagascar, Louisa in Kenya and James I in Sierra Leone; working on projects ranging from running financial workshops to creating digital assets. For more info on the scholarships, please check out our page here .
  • In the final trustee meeting of the year, the trustees approved three new Goal 2 grants, to Practical Action, MyAgro and Renewable World. You can read up on the projects on their individual pages.
  • We’ve totalled up that we’ve been able to help an incredible 850,000 people directly, through the projects we’ve helped to fund.
  • We created this brand new shiny website. Please let us know what you think of it, by popping us a line: hello@innocentfoundation.org

All of this is possible, because of our incredible project partners and the generous donation from innocent drinks. Here’s to 2020, and the achievements that await.
