Part of the original trio that founded innocent in 1999, Adam set up the foundation in 2004 with Jon and Rich and has been a Trustee ever since. The three of them still work together running JamJar Investments, which helps entrepreneurs build successful businesses and have a net positive effect on the world around them.
Amy joined the innocent foundation in 2016, looking after all things Goal 2, communications and engagement. Her background is in NGO programming and communications, having worked at both Comic Relief and World Animal Protection previous to innocent foundation. She’s currently on maternity leave, and we look forward to welcoming her back.
Camilla joined us from Oxfam, bringing lots of humanitarian experience. She became a foundation Trustee in 2019 and heads up AMREF, a health charity working across sub-Saharan Africa.
Christina became a Trustee in 2012. She has over 20 years’ experience working with non-governmental organisations, multinational businesses, small-medium enterprises and community groups across Latin America, Asia, and Europe. She worked for Save the Children UK for many years and helped with their tsunami response. Since 2016 , she has been working with the Sustainable Food Lab and UNDP, focusing on sustainability in agricultural supply chains.
Connor joined the innocent foundation in 2021 to look after Goal 2 grants, the fantastic project Guardians and comms. He’s managed grants for family foundations, emergency trusts and corporate foundations.
Douglas joined innocent in 2006 and did lots of different jobs before taking over from Richard, Adam and Jon as CEO in 2013. Douglas became a trustee of the innocent foundation in 2014.
Laura has worked in international development for over 20 years leading grant funded programmes. She joined the innocent foundation in 2021 and before that was working with World Vision. Now she looks after our Goal 1 grants and manages the foundation’s operations, policies and processes

Part of the original trio that founded innocent in 1999, Richard set up the foundation in 2004 with Jon and Adam and has been a Trustee ever since. The three of them still work together running JamJar Investments. Rich is also the co-founder of Art Everywhere, a trustee of his own Reed Family Foundation and a patron of Peace One Day. He’s a busy guy.
SJ joined innocent in 2006 and did lots of different roles before becoming the people and culture director in 2018. She became a trustee in 2015.
Vanessa joined the foundation in 2022, leading the team to create a world where every person has enough food to live. She’s had lots of jobs in the international development sector, including many years living in East Africa where she worked with BBC Media Action and local NGOs on smallholder agriculture, governance, and communications.
