We’re proud to support Semilla Nueva to promote their ‘bio-fortified’ maize seeds in Guatemala, improving the yield, nutrients and climate resilience of corn crops – a much-loved but not-so-nutritious staple. Semilla Nueva has a big dream: to help hundreds of thousands of farmers to get access to these seeds, they want the big commercial seed producers in Guatemala to switch to bio-fortified seeds now, and government to switch next.
