about the foundation

since day one, innocent’s founders pledged to give 10% of the company’s profits to charity

innocent has been doing just that since 1999, showing how business can be used as a force for good. Most of that money comes to the innocent foundation, and since we were founded in 2004 we’ve received over £10 million. That’s a lot of cash. Enough to keep helping the world’s hungry in new ways, by finding and funding breakthrough projects. We couldn’t do this without the nation’s love of crushed fruit (and innocent’s generosity).

As we’ve grown, we’ve changed how we help, but our purpose, vision and approach have stayed exactly the same. You can read more about that here. In a nutshell, we help the world’s hungry by funding projects that fit into one of two goals. The first is to stop children dying of hunger and the second is to help the poorest families feed themselves.

Since 2013, innocent has committed to giving at least £950,000 annually to the foundation, even in years when no profit is made. This allows our work to continue. You can take a look at our latest annual accounts on the Charity Commission website. We receive all donations within 12 months of the end of the year.
