Back in 1999, Richard, Adam and Jon started innocent with a simple aim: to make it easy for people to do themselves and others some good. They pledged that innocent would always give 10% of its profits to charity; a promise hardwired into how innocent does business today, ensuring that the more good stuff the company sells, the more good it does. In 2004, they set up the innocent foundation as an independent registered charity funded by the employees, shareholders and company of innocent drinks. They remain trustees of the foundation today.
innocent still donates 10% of their profits to charity each year, and the majority of the money comes to us at the innocent foundation. Since 2013, the company has committed to give a minimum of £950,000 to the foundation, even in years when no profit is made, to allow our work to continue.
In total, innocent has donated £8.9m to the innocent foundation. Over 800,000 hungry people have benefited so far, thanks to the brilliant charities we’ve worked with over the years. You can find out more about some of these projects here.
You can take a look at our latest annual accounts on the Charity Commission website or find out more about innocent’s charitable donations here. All donations are paid by innocent drinks to the foundation within 12 months of calendar year end.
